Campaign description

Cohara morning brief. A short transactional summary of the family's day — schedule, recent observations, and one thing to keep an eye on — delivered to the parent before the day starts. Operated by COHARA AI INC, a California corporation, dba Cohara, for the invitation-only trusted-family pilot.

Use case: Transactional / informational (Low Volume Mixed).
Message frequency: Up to 1 message per day per opted-in user.
Message and data rates: May apply (set by the recipient's mobile carrier; Cohara does not bill the recipient for SMS).
SMS is optional. The web-only product path (cohara.ai) remains fully available for parents who do not opt in to SMS.
Opt-out anytime: Reply STOP (or OPTOUT / CANCEL / END / QUIT / UNSUBSCRIBE / REVOKE) to opt out of all future SMS. Reply HELP (or INFO) for support instructions.

Opt-in preview (non-submitting)

The following form mirrors the optional-phone-number / express-consent pattern. The phone field is optional. There is no preselected checkbox. The TCPA disclosure is shown inline directly under the phone field, adjacent to the action being consented to.

By entering your phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated transactional and informational SMS messages from Cohara about your trusted-family pilot, daily planning, family coordination, account notices, and support. The Cohara morning brief sends up to 1 message per day. Your brief may include your children's first names and family calendar details to make it useful at a glance. Cohara does not include other families' children or sensitive information such as medical details, grades, academic concerns, or behavioral details in SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and is not required to use Cohara. How this maps to production

The production opt-in flow lives at the authenticated onboarding screen S-13 (cohara.ai/onboarding). The production screen uses an explicit on/off toggle “Send me the morning brief” (default OFF) plus the same TCPA disclosure text above. The mobile-number field and consent block render in a visible-but-de-emphasized state when the toggle is OFF (opacity 0.5, pointerEvents none, disabled, aria-disabled true) and become fully active when the parent taps the toggle ON. Tapping Continue with the toggle OFF skips SMS entirely.

Consent record handling

When a real user opts in at production S-13 (not on this reviewer preview), Cohara stores a consent record in a dedicated sms_consent_records table with the parent's user ID, family ID, phone number, the exact consent copy shown at opt-in, the consent copy version, an opted_in flag, the IP address, and the user agent. Records are retained for compliance auditing. See Privacy Policy §4a and /tcr-evidence Sections 8 + 9.
